GUYS.

I got my acceptance letter to university letter. 

I have replied to that letter and thus enrolled in university. 

Come October 4, I will officially be working towards my Bachelor degree in Applied Business Languages and International Management, taking on Japanese as a third language and Marketing as a management focus. In the course of my studies, I will spend a whole year in Japan. This is not a maybe. This is the definite future for the next four years. 

YOU GUYS. 

This is kinda epic.

I'm over the moon. 

I picked up my apartment keys.

I opened a new bank account. 

I am doing all this adult shit that is really boring and blah. 

I'm going to move to another city in two weeks. TWO WEEKS.

No, I literally don't know what to say. My life hasn't been terribly interesting lately. I already told you guys about the apartment, and then I could bitch and whine about work, but, eh. That's kind of an old topic. Retail sucks.

Supernatural has pretty much taken over my life. Season 6 broke my heart into tiny little pieces, I'm utterly in love with Castiel and Dean and shipping Destiel like whoa, and damn, Misha Collins. Just... Misha. How is that man even real? I just can't. Ah... that is probably boring the hell out of 95% of my tlist.

I feel sad because I'm really not finding much to be happy about in Hyde-fandom currently. *helpless shrug* There's just too little happening to keep me remotely entertained and invested, which is awful on my part.

Oh, I wrote a small Supernatural/Destiel drabble for those who are interested. It's over here @ tentaibrush. I don't think you'll understand it if you haven't watched Supernatural, though >.< I'm still struggling to get back to writing, but I've been feeling particularly uninspired lately.

And... uh... yeah. That's it. I really don't know what else to talk about lately...

So I turned a year older.

Thank you everyone for the lovely messages, texts, phone calls, chats, facebook messages and the ensuing joy. I've been a little overwhelmed with the attention I got this year <3 Thank you all so very much!

I forgot to mention this in my last update, but as many of you might have noticed, I've deactivated my twitter account. Strangely enough, I feel like a large portion of my life is missing. The easy way of staying up to date with a lot of people has flown out the window and it just feels plain strange not to be able to click on the tab and see what's new in my fandom. I'm sure the feeling will pass, though. Anyway, please don't be confused if you try to @ me, but @inkyutea does not exist any longer.

I feel like I did something important today. I was out for an appointment. No, that wasn't the important bit. For the past few weeks, I usually left the house, went to an appointment, got it over with and rushed straight back home. Today I decided to stop at a café. It's called the Double Coffee, and it's something of a small-scale Starbuck's or Balzac Coffee thing. Cheaper, but comfy enough and tasty. I had a smoothie, needing something really cold to counter the stifling heat, and a bagel plus my book. I just took some time to enjoy those three things plus the sunshine and just be by myself. It felt good. I want to do things like that more often, just take moments out of every day to truly relax and enjoy the little things.

Maybe that's the secret to being happy.

In a fit of genius, belovedseason has founded the community Celestial Brush: tentaibrush . And because I'm clearly the center of the universe, she has humbly sat up a throne for me right next to hers, too. JK.

Joking aside, I have thrown my lot in with her and will be posting my fics to from now on. I'm not quite sure to what extent I'll do it yet. I have a lot of fanfiction still in my own journal and I know there are a lot of people following this journal mainly for the fic. However, this might be a step for me to separate fic-journal and private journal, but we'll see. For now I'll move everything there that is not related to Moonchild/JRock, as I feel most of "my readers", if I may call those of you reading my fics that, are mainly in for those stories. I might move everything to the community in the long run, though. We'll see, and you'll know.

The past few days have been a little difficult, but let's not focus on the bad but look at some of the good, shall we?

I've applied to Daedalic Entertainment for a three month internship in Marketing and PR. Let's see how that works out.

Should I get into university I plan to specialise in Marketing. That's nothing new so far, but a recent episode of Extra Credits has made me realize just how right this direction in general is for me. I want to work in Marketing and PR, and I think I might just try and work towards worming my way into the gaming industry. It's not far of a stretch considering I'm a rather big gaming nerd, and I think the gaming industry is in need of people to get their image up. Could I be someone to do that kind of work? Who knows, but it'd sure be great to try. Speaking of Extra Credits, btw, check them out. Their webshow is comic-y and funny only on the surface. They touch down on deep issues and present interesting insights, suggestions and ramblings about topics connected to gaming. Definitely worth your time if video games are even remotely of interest to you.

Yesterday was Mother's Day and my grandmother's birthday, and the less said about it the better.

Highlight of the past weekend? A slightly drunk but still surprisingly coherent discussion about literature and the movie adaptations of it in a park at night. Not even suddenly possessing too many feet, tripping and scratching my knee could take away from the fun of that.
